Frequently Asked Questions about House Cleaning


How does your pricing work?

For a first-time or one-time cleaning, we charge $60 per hour for a 2-person team or $90 per hour for a 3-person team, with a 2-hour minimum. We charge a an additional $10-15 per hour for Saturday visits, depending on the crew size. This pricing includes all supplies, cleaning products, and equipment necessary to get the job done.

A number of factors such as the type of cleaning being done, layout and furnishings to be cleaned, pets, number of occupants, and general condition of the home have can all have an impact on the time that is required to complete the job to a high standard. When you see our teams in action, you’ll see that they work efficiently as a team and use no more time than is required to get the job done in a way that is most likely to make YOU smile with delight at your sparkling clean house.

For ongoing service, after we do your initial cleaning and familiarize ourselves with your home and understand your priorities, we then determine a flat price for an ongoing maintenance program.


Do you come at the same day and time on every visit?

While we can generally commit to a day of the week, there are a number of factors throughout the day which can have an impact on our actual arrival time. We are very diligent about keeping in close contact with regard to our estimated time of arrival.


Do you provide your own supplies and products?

Absolutely. We carry our own environmentally friendly cleaning supplies and our own equipment. Of course if there’s a particular product you’d prefer we use, we’d be glad to.


Do I need to be present during the cleaning?

For a first-time or a one-time cleaning, we do ask that you or a responsible party be present at least at the beginning of the job to do a quick walk-through and make sure we are on the same page as to what you want to get out of our visit and what your priorities are, as well as upon completion of the work to certify that you’re 100% pleased with the job. Once we’ve been there once or twice and we’ve had the chance to get to know you and your home, our clients generally feel comfortable allowing us to enter their homes and get the work done independently while they are at work or out and about.

Always rest-assured that our crews are highly professional and well-supervised while working in your home, and we take a LOT of pride in that!

We offer a 24 hour warranty period from the time of completion of the cleaning, so if there’s anything that you’re not pleased about, give us a call within 24 hours and we’ll come back out and address it.

CastleCleaners does not give monetary refunds. Rather, we would prefer to fix the issue in question, and use it as a training opportunity for our team. CastleCleaners will not be held liable for repair or replacement of items broken or damaged due to pre-existing wear and tear, incorrect installation, assembly or usage.
